Unicorn Academy Returns October 8 with “Flying Free,” More Episodes Coming Spring 2027

Netflix and Spin Master are galloping back into action with Unicorn Academy: Secrets Revealed — Flying Free, the next chapter in the hit animated fantasy series. The first four episodes drop globally on October 8, with an already-confirmed second batch arriving Spring 2027.

Unicorn Academy Returns: Overview

What Happens in “Flying Free”?

The Sapphires return to Unicorn Island for their sophomore year, now stepping fully into conflict with the villainous Ravenzella. The synopsis teases a masquerade ball honoring the Fairy Moon, alongside a magical quest by Sophia and Wildstar to find the shooting stars of the Unicorn Constellation in hopes of bringing back Sophia’s father — though not everyone supports the risky mission.

A Bigger Magical Threat Emerges

Natural disasters threaten to strip all unicorns of their magic permanently, forcing the Sapphires to rescue a legendary winged unicorn named Skywind. Along the way, they team up with Zaya, a mysterious Grimorian ally, and uncover a shocking secret: the Academy’s history is built on a founder’s betrayal that originally created dark magic.

A High-Stakes Showdown Ahead

When Ravenzella steals Skywind to exploit this newfound power, the heroes and Zaya must unite to defeat her, heal Skywind, and restore magic to the island for good. With four more episodes already locked in for Spring 2027, fans won’t have to wait long to see how the story continues.
