How to Download Your CAT 2026 Admit Card?

Downloading takes a minute, as long as your login details are handy. Visit iimcat.ac.in, click the candidate login or “Download Admit Card” link, and enter your registered User ID and password. Your admit card will appear on screen, and you can save it as a PDF and print it. Do this early, not on the last day, so there’s time to fix any problems.

What to Verify the Moment You Download?

Treat the first look as a proofreading exercise. Check these items carefully:

• Name, photograph, and signature
• Registration number and category
• Exam date and session or slot timing
• Reporting time
• Test centre name and address

If anything looks wrong, report it to IIM Indore immediately instead of waiting for exam week.

Exam-Day Checklist

Print a clear copy of your admit card and keep a digital backup too. Carry a valid photo ID, as centres typically check identity before entry. Visit your test centre’s location a day before if possible, since CAT is held across roughly 170 cities and you don’t want travel surprises. Read the instructions printed on the admit card, and follow the centre’s rules on what you can bring.

Final Preparation Tips

With under four weeks left, shift from learning new topics to timed mock tests and error review. Practise sitting through the full exam duration so the real day feels familiar. Sleep matters more than one extra late-night chapter. For similar guides, see our latest exam coverage.

Final Thoughts

The admit card is a small step that causes big problems when ignored. Download it, verify it, and print it, then put your energy where it counts: your preparation.
