What Is TN 2026 About?
The film follows Kulkanth Kumar, a North Indian man who arrives in Chennai to earn a living and — almost by accident — becomes a film star. Despite his broken Tamil, audiences love him. A wealthy zamindar named Sivalinga Mandradiyar spots Kulkanth’s uncanny resemblance to his idol MG Ramachandran and decides to back him, eventually maneuvering him toward a shot at becoming Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
What unfolds is a wickedly funny and perceptive satire on the intersection of the film industry and politics — a theme that resonates deeply in Tamil Nadu’s cultural landscape, where cinema and political life have historically been inseparable.
