The Leads Are Great, But Sold Out on You’s Supporting Cast Is Quietly Stealing the Whole Drama

A great romantic comedy lives and dies by the world built around its leads — and Sold Out on You is proving that point episode by episode. While Ahn Hyo Seop and Chae Won Bin carry the central love story beautifully, it’s the drama’s four-member supporting cast that is quietly becoming the reason viewers tune in every week.

New stills have been released spotlighting Go Doo Shim, Yoon Byung Hee, Jo Bok Rae, and Park Ye Young — and the chemistry radiating from these characters is something special.

What Is Sold Out on You About?

Before diving into the supporting players, here’s the setup: Matthew Lee (Ahn Hyo Seop) is a perfectionist farmer working multiple jobs to make ends meet. Dam Ye Jin (Chae Won Bin) is a top home shopping show host battling severe insomnia. An unexpected collision of two very different worlds — and an unexpected love story — follows.

Meet the Scene-Stealing Supporting Cast

A Closer Look at Each Character

Go Doo Shim as Song Hak Daek — The veteran actress brings her signature warmth to the role of the village’s warm-hearted anchor. As the person who helps Matthew Lee find his footing in the countryside, she also becomes Dam Ye Jin’s unlikely ally — welcoming the city outsider with open arms and nudging the bickering leads toward each other in the most endearingly chaotic way. She is essentially the drama’s emotional glue.

Yoon Byung Hee as Kang Moo Won — If you’ve been watching for the laughs, this character is probably responsible for most of them. Kang Moo Won is Matthew Lee’s most devoted admirer, and Yoon Byung Hee plays the role with a perfect balance of sincerity and slapstick. His over-the-top devotion to the principled, no-nonsense Matthew creates a comedic dynamic that has already become a fan favourite highlight of the series.

Jo Bok Rae as Park Kwang Mo — A mushroom farm foreman who moonlights as a countryside YouTuber with a grand audience of seven subscribers. The character is pure comedic gold on paper, and Jo Bok Rae delivers with deadpan precision and a delightfully authentic regional dialect that adds texture and charm to the drama’s rural setting. Every scene he’s in is a moment worth rewinding.

Park Ye Young as Eom Sung Mi — The home shopping PD is a whirlwind of energy — fiercely competent on set, fiercely loyal to her best friend Dam Ye Jin off it, and now hinting at an unexpected romance line of her own. Park Ye Young moves between all these emotional registers effortlessly, making Eom Sung Mi feel like a fully realised character rather than a supporting placeholder.
