Teach You a Lesson Hit #1 on Netflix in 48 Countries — And the Behind-the-Scenes Photos Show Exactly Why the Cast Chemistry Is Unbeatable

When a K-drama goes from premiere to global #1 in just three days, you know something special is happening. Teach You a Lesson has done exactly that — and the newly released behind-the-scenes stills are giving fans even more reasons to fall in love with this show.

Teach You a Lesson — Overview

What Is Teach You a Lesson About?

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, Teach You a Lesson is a series about the fictional Educational Rights Protection Bureau (ERPB) — a government task force created to restore teachers’ authority in an era of unruly students, demanding parents, and struggling schools.

It’s a premise that hits close to home for audiences across Asia and beyond — which explains why the show resonated so deeply so quickly. A perfect blend of action, social commentary, and genuine laughs, it’s the kind of Korean drama that transcends language barriers.

Netflix Records Shattered

The series claimed the No. 1 spot on Netflix’s Global Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart just three days after its release, ranking #1 in 10 countries including South Korea, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. It also entered the Top 10 in a total of 48 countries worldwide.

That is not a slow burn. That is a full-throttle global explosion. 🔥

What the New BTS Stills Show

To celebrate the massive milestone, Netflix dropped a fresh round of behind-the-scenes photos — and they tell two very different stories about life on set.

One still shows Na Hwa Jin (Kim Moo Yeol) confidently behind the wheel while a group of terrified students sits in the back seat — a satisfying scene in which he used his impressive driving skills to teach troublesome students a lesson. Other images show Kim Moo Yeol standing alone against multiple opponents, showcasing his intense and fearless action performance.

But cut to the BTS shots and the mood completely flips. Lee Sung Min is seen chatting warmly with a smile, while Kim Moo Yeol, Jin Ki Joo, and P.O strike a playful pose for the camera — highlighting the strong chemistry among the cast members.

Jin Ki Joo is also spotted sitting on a window ledge and hanging from a challenging wire rig, showcasing the physical effort she put into portraying the action-oriented Im Han Rim. And a still of P.O’s character Bong Geun Dae, surrounded by monitors and computer equipment, perfectly captures the genius civil servant’s lovable nerdy charm.
