Suriya’s Vishwanath And Sons Just Dropped Its First Song Promo — And It’s Already a Summer Earworm

Vishwanath And Sons: Everything You Need to Know

The Pattampoochi Promo — A Butterfly Crush in Full Bloom

The makers dropped a promo for the film’s debut track Pattampoochi, and it’s an absolute treat. Mamitha Baiju plays a woman developing a bubbly, one-sided crush on Suriya’s gruff, no-nonsense character — a “rough guy” to her “tough girl,” as the promo playfully puts it.

The track — composed by GV Prakash Kumar, one of Tamil cinema’s most versatile music composers — carries a breezy, peppy energy that perfectly captures the flutter of new feelings. The Tamil version has vocals by Subhalakshmi (of Coolie fame) with lyrics by Arunraja Kamaraj, while the Telugu version, Neno Butterfly, features lyrics by Ramajogaiah Sastry.

The full song lands on June 19, 2026 — just two days away — so the wait is short!

What Is Vishwanath And Sons About?

The film tells the story of Sanjay Vishwanath, a 40-year-old former international sporting champion attempting a dramatic comeback — even as his eyesight begins to fail him. Into this emotionally charged world walks Maddy, a vibrant woman 20 years his junior who falls deeply in love with him, setting off a story full of warmth, conflict, and heart.

It’s the kind of layered, emotionally rich premise that director Venky Atluri — known for crafting tender love stories — is perfectly suited for. Add Raveena Tandon and Radikaa Sarathkumar to the supporting cast, and this one has blockbuster written all over it.
