Squid Game Takes Over Fortnite Reload With New Map from June 27

The highly anticipated Squid Game collaboration is finally hitting Fortnite Reload next week, bringing the deadly Netflix series to Epic Games’ fast-paced battle royale mode. This crossover launches alongside Squid Game Season 3’s premiere.

Squid Game Transforms Fortnite Reload Experience

The new Squid Game map launches in Fortnite Reload on June 27, marking the last of Fortnite’s core game modes to receive major updates this month. This date coincides with the release of Squid Game Season 3, which will be the final season of the Netflix phenomenon.

The official Fortnite account confirmed that the newly inspired Squid Game map will bring chaos to Fortnite Reload. Leaked images reveal the new Reload map featuring iconic Squid Game elements and environments, promising an intense gaming experience that mirrors the show’s deadly competitions.

The collaboration extends beyond just maps, as Squid Game skins will also be available in the item shop, allowing players to dress as their favorite characters from the series.

What to Expect from the New Map

The collaboration will introduce Squid Game tools to the Unreal Editor in Fortnite, giving creators new ways to build custom experiences. If successful, this map could significantly boost Reload’s popularity, as the mode has received fewer updates compared to other Fortnite game modes.

The map promises to recreate the tense atmosphere of the Netflix series, featuring recognizable locations and potentially incorporating some of the show’s iconic games. Players can expect intense battles within environments directly inspired by the show’s most memorable moments.
