A Record-Breaking Run in India

The film is now the biggest Hollywood grosser ever in India, finishing with Rs 585.25 crore gross and Rs 643.75 crore once 3D collections are included. It also became only the third Hollywood film to record more than 2 crore footfalls in the country, joining Titanic and Avengers: Endgame. Premium 3D screenings alone added roughly Rs 58 crore to the gross, which shows how many fans chose the big-screen experience.

How the Weeks Played Out?

The run was heavily front-loaded, as you’d expect from an event movie. Week one delivered Rs 324.50 crore nett, about two-thirds of the final total. Week two added Rs 105.75 crore, week three Rs 30.50 crore, and week four Rs 12.25 crore. From week five onwards, the film steadily tapered off, collecting just over Rs 10 crore nett across its remaining weeks. It’s a classic pattern of massive fan rush followed by a long, graceful tail.

Internationally, the numbers are even more staggering. The film earned about USD 1.565 billion overseas and roughly USD 960 million in North America, taking its worldwide total past USD 2.5 billion. That makes it the highest-grossing film ever in North America and the third highest-grossing film of all time worldwide. Holland’s Peter Parker clearly remains a global favourite, and nostalgia plus strong word of mouth did the rest.

Conclusion

From packed Indian theatres to global records, Brand New Day proves the friendly neighbourhood hero still has serious pull. For more box office news, keep browsing TechnoSports.
