When a Fan Crossed the Line: The Scary Moment That Had Sidharth Malhotra Terrified for Pregnant Kiara Advani

Celebrity pregnancies come with joy, but also invisible dangers that most fans never think about. A recent revelation from Kiara Advani’s personal bodyguard pulls back the curtain on one such nerve-wracking moment during her pregnancy with daughter Saraayah Malhotra — and it’s a story that hits differently.

What Really Happened? The Incident Explained?

Kiara’s bodyguard Zeeshan Qureshi recently opened up to SCREEN about a tense moment when an enthusiastic fan — dressed in a suit — tried to get close to the actress and even attempted to hug her when she was seven months pregnant.

The incident occurred during a brand shoot where Kiara was working despite her advanced pregnancy. Sidharth Malhotra, deeply concerned for his wife’s safety, had personally requested Zeeshan to accompany her even though she already had her own security detail.

The “fan” turned out to be a member of Isha Ambani’s team. Zeeshan got into a heated argument with the individual before Akash Ambani’s manager stepped in to defuse the situation.

A Husband’s Fear, A Wife’s Strength

What makes this story truly touching is how it reflects the couple’s dynamic. While Kiara Advani kept powering through her professional commitments — including making her Met Gala debut while pregnant — Sidharth was quietly operating in protective-husband mode behind the scenes.

Zeeshan recalled that Sidharth was genuinely “afraid of sending her” out, yet trusted his team to keep her safe. That balance of love and trust? Honestly, couple goals.

According to Wikipedia, a bodyguard’s primary role is to protect their principal from physical harm — a responsibility Zeeshan clearly took to heart.

The Wedding That Started It All

Zeeshan also revealed that his association with the couple goes all the way back to their 2023 Jaisalmer wedding, where he was the lead security coordinator. He shared that Sidharth personally visited the venue multiple times months in advance to ensure complete secrecy. Every detail was meticulously planned in person — nothing was left to a phone call.

That dedication clearly carried over into how Sid protected Kiara during her pregnancy. And the result? A beautiful daughter, Saraayah Malhotra, born in 2025.
