The Vvaan Box Office Day 9: Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s Film Adds Rs 3.25 Crore on Second Friday

Is The Vvaan holding its ground? Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s film added an estimated Rs 3-3.25 crore on its second Friday, according to Pinkvilla’s trade estimates. The hold is decent, and the film has already been called a success, but a holiday boost would have made the number prettier.

How the Second Friday Looks?

On a normal day, Rs 3 crore or more on a second Friday would be considered excellent. But this Friday coincided with a holiday, so the trade expected a stronger jump. That means the weekend growth could stay muted, and the film may not get the big boost that would turn a success into a bigger hit.

A Tough Fight Ahead

Fresh competition has arrived in the form of Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam: The Conclusion, which opened to an estimated Rs 61-62 crore nett on day 1. That will eat into screens and audiences over the coming days. How well The Vvaan holds on weekdays will decide its final tally.

What Is The Vvaan About?

The Vvaan: Force of the Forest follows Rishi, an engineer who returns to his ancestral village in Bihar with his wife to settle a family property dispute. Their visit takes an unexpected turn when a development project threatens a sacred forest. As Rishi is drawn into a centuries-old mystery, myth and reality collide, and he must embrace his destiny to protect his village and restore the balance between faith and nature.

The film also stars Anup Soni, Sunil Grover, Shweta Tiwari, and Maniesh Paul in key roles.
