The film revolves around the seven-year-oldMomoji, caught in a web of emotions, torn between his parents and tender grandparents. Momoji, raised by his devoted grandparents, is entangled in a complex web of familial strife when his maternities decide to take him to the US.

The dramatic clash between the paternities and grandparents ensues, turning a once-loving relationship into a bitter lawful battle. The central question of “Who holds the moral claim?” is the crux of the narrative.

For the unversed, ‘Shastry Virudh Shastry’ is the Hindi remake of the hit Bengali picture ‘Posto.’

The film featured Soumitra Chattopadhyay, Jisshu Sengupta, Mimi Chakraborty, and Paran Bandopadhyay.
