If you love a good “nothing is as it seems” K-drama, Wavve’s latest original Reverse is already giving off all the right signals — and it hasn’t even premiered yet. A brand-new preview teaser just dropped, and it’s genuinely unsettling in the best possible way.
What Is Reverse About?
Reverse is a mystery revenge thriller in which Myo Jin (Seo Ji Hye), who gets caught up in an explosion at a chaebol family’s villa and loses her memory, works to recover those memories in order to uncover the secrets of her suspicious fiancé Jun Ho (Go Soo) and the truth behind the accident.
Think amnesia, a shady chaebol family, and a heroine who might be more dangerous than she appears. Yes, we’re hooked.

What Happens in the Preview Teaser?
In the newly released preview, Myo Jin and Jun Ho are seen preparing dinner together outside their home, when a sudden fire breaks out — an incident that appears to trigger something buried deep within Myo Jin’s mind, causing her to collapse to the ground.
It gets darker from there. The video shifts to a hypnosis session where fragmented images begin to surface — a man shouting, a sense of confinement, and a struggle as she is dragged away. When asked what she is experiencing, Myo Jin responds, “It seems like I did something wrong,” while flashes of violence, including the image of her stabbing someone, flicker through her mind.
That final image alone is enough to send chills down your spine and keep you guessing until episode one.
Why You Should Watch
Seo Ji Hye is no stranger to complex, emotionally charged roles, and Reverse looks like exactly the kind of vehicle that lets her shine. Paired with the always-compelling Go Soo as a fiancé who clearly has secrets of his own, this has all the ingredients of a binge-worthy mystery thriller — layered characters, a slow-burn unravelling, and an unreliable protagonist at its centre.
