Some people trust their gut. Others trust their spreadsheets. In the upcoming romance What a Boss Wants, a CEO who lives by data is about to meet one variable he can’t calculate.

What a Boss Wants: A Voice He Can’t Forget

Based on a web novel of the same name, the drama follows Kwon Do Hyuk (Sung Hoon), a chaebol boss with zero sense of taste. He sets out to find the woman whose voice he heard on an album. That woman is Lee Eun Chae (Oh Se Young), the lead vocalist of an indie band.

Do Hyuk is the CEO of Oh Yes Entertainment and a firm believer in data and logic over emotions, and he has built a meticulously controlled life. Eun Chae, an energetic and outspoken job seeker, walks in as a completely unexpected variable and throws everything off balance.

What the Posters Say?

The new posters use soft pastel styling to show the pair’s fresh chemistry. The tagline is clever: “Between 1 and 0, there’s now a variable called ‘you.'” The numbers stand for Do Hyuk’s faith in logic, and Eun Chae is the variable that disrupts it.

The images also tell a small story:

Poster one: Eun Chae looks startled by a red dress spread across her lap, while Do Hyuk casually holds its hem.
Poster two: They sit side by side with a visible gap, hinting at early awkwardness and curiosity.
Poster three: They press cheeks together and smile brightly, showing how close they’ve grown.
