kiDnap GAME: Lee Joon Gi and Sakaguchi Kentaro Race to Save Their Families Across Seven Asian Cities

What would you do if your child or spouse was taken, and the only way to get them back was to win a deadly game against strangers? That’s the heart-pounding question behind kiDnap GAME, a cross-border thriller that has just unveiled new stills of its two leads.

kiDnap GAME: A Kidnapping Across Seven Cities

The story centers on an unprecedented kidnapping case that unfolds simultaneously in Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei, Singapore, Bangkok, Naha and Manila. Seven people receive different missions and must complete them before anyone else to save their loved ones. The catch: in this survival game, only one person can remain alive.

Meet the Two Leads

Lee Joon Gi plays Han Ki Joo, a Seoul doctor whose ordinary life shatters when his daughter is kidnapped. Desperate, he follows the kidnapper’s harsh rules and repeatedly makes extreme choices to save his family.

Sakaguchi Kentaro plays Niide Toshiro, a Tokyo detective with a strong sense of justice. When his wife is kidnapped, the case becomes personal, yet he keeps digging for the truth and closes in on those behind it.

kiDnap GAME: Overview

Why It’s Worth Watching?

Two fathers, or rather a husband and a father, pushed to the brink, make choices that eventually collide. How Han Ki Joo and Niide Toshiro become entangled is one of the show’s key points of interest, and their confrontation will form a central axis of the story.

The series also asks a deeper question: why was each character pulled into the game? Small decisions made without a second thought in ordinary life lead to unexpected consequences, and seven people who seem unconnected gradually become intertwined.
