Scary Fast: All rumors ahead of Apple’s upcoming event

Apple has just announced the ‘Scary Fast’ event, which will take place on October 30 at 5:00 PM PT/5:30 AM IST. The event is widely anticipated, with a strong focus on MacBooks. There have been persistent reports regarding Apple presenting its next-generation processor, the M3, and that this event will act as a venue to display its capabilities. The reported M3 lineup will include four models: M3, M3 Pro, M3 Max, and M3 Ultra.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman earlier claimed that Apple was undertaking internal testing of different Mac devices, including an iMac, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro, all of which were powered by the M3 chipset. Surprisingly, none of these products were unveiled on September 12 during the Wonderlust event.

The entire focus is on Scary Fast being an M3 dominated event

According to the source, there are significant signs that Apple will debut M3-powered devices at this event. Furthermore, reports claim that the long-awaited 24-inch iMac may make an appearance, as it has been in development for quite some time.

According to recent media sources, Apple may be increasing its iPad portfolio, with announcements likely on October 17. That expectation, however, did not come true. Instead, Apple introduced a less expensive option to the Apple Pencil 2nd Generation.

At the upcoming ‘Scary Fast’ event, no iPad-related revelations are expected. According to Mark Gurman, Apple is planning to release iPads such as the iPad Mini, iPad Air, and iPad 11th Generation in 2024. It should be noted that this information is taken from unofficial sources and should be treated with caution until Apple officially confirms it, which is scheduled to happen on October 30 during the ‘Scary Fast’ event.

Apple’s year has been defined by a flurry of product debuts, far outnumbering the company’s prior yearly announcements. In June, the business launched new operating systems for its devices, a new 15-inch MacBook Air, and the Vision Pro, its first spatial computer. Following that, the Cupertino, California-based tech behemoth unveiled the iPhone 15 series, as well as new Apple Watches. What we’re looking forward to now are the new Macs.
