Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab A9 Details Revealed on Google Play Console

For many years, Samsung has held dominance in the high-end Android tablet sector. Samsung released its latest tablet offering earlier this year, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series, which includes the Tab S9, S9 Plus, and S9 Ultra.  Simultaneously, Samsung is preparing to introduce several mid-range and budget-friendly tablets within its Galaxy S and Galaxy A lineups.

Both the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE series and the Galaxy Tab A9 series have been subjects of discussion for some time now, and devices from these series have recently surfaced on the Google Play Console, unveiling key details regarding their processors, RAM, and operating systems.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab A9 Appear on Google Play

One of these listings belongs to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE, identified by the model number gst9fewifi, denoting the Wi-Fi-only variant of the device. This mid-range tablet is listed with 6GB of RAM and is powered by the Android 13 operating system. Regarding its processor, the device is equipped with the Samsung s5e8835 SoC, also known as the Exynos 1380 chip, featuring four ARM Cortex A78 cores and four A55 cores. This SoC is paired with the Mali G68 GPU. The listing also confirms the display resolution of 1440 x 2304 pixels and pixel density of 280 DPI. The tablet’s design, as depicted in the render, showcases a single rear camera setup.

In contrast, the Galaxy Tab A9, identified by the model number gta9, was also spotted on the Google Play Console, boasting the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and Mali G57 GPU. This tablet comes with 4GB of RAM and has the Android 13. Its display is set at 800 x 1340 pixels resolution, and the tablet’s front view reveals a front camera along with substantial top and bottom bezels.

All About Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE

According to sources, Samsung plans to release two tablets in the Tab S9 series: the Tab S9 FE and the Tab S9 FE+. According to leaks, the Tab S9 FE will be available in two variants: 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. Meanwhile, the Tab S9 FE+ will come in 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB models. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE is going to be priced at around ₹63,000 in India and will be available in Grey, Silver, Light Pink, and Light Green color variants. The tablet is anticipated to launch in the last quarter of 2024.
