Bigg Boss Malayalam 8 Eviction: Wildcard Vedangi Exits, Calls Rahul Easwar Her “Therapist”

Some Bigg Boss exits are loud. This one was oddly warm. Wildcard entrant Vedangi Cherukattu has left Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8, and her goodbye was less about fights and more about an unlikely friendship.

Bigg Boss Malayalam 8 Eviction

How the Eviction Unfolded?

After several confrontations and emotional moments in the house, Mohanlal began the elimination. He had already saved Gautham, Tashi, and Noby in the previous episode, leaving Rahul Easwar, Mridhula Vijai, Vedangi, and Anjali in the final round. During the eviction round, he declared Anjali and Mridhula safe, which left Rahul and Vedangi standing together.

The result came through the house lights, which stay lit when a contestant is saved and go off when someone is evicted. For Vedangi, they went dark.

Her Goodbye: A Surprising Friendship

Reflecting on her time, Vedangi said she gave her best. She then turned to Rahul Easwar and thanked him for being like a therapist to her, calling their bond the biggest plot twist of her life. She admitted that even when she agreed with other housemates, she always preferred to disagree with him. Rahul replied that it was one of the most complicated bonds he has had.

Asked whom she would miss most, she named Rahul right away, noting she never imagined she would say that. She also said she believes she has developed the skill of understanding people better, though she was unsure what went wrong for her game.

Who Is Vedangi Cherukattu?

Vedangi is a 24-year-old digital content creator and social media influencer from Malappuram, Kerala. She built her following on Instagram with viral reels, fashion content, lifestyle posts, and an outspoken personality. Her entry into the Bigg Boss Malayalam house as a wildcard in October 2026 marked her move from social media to television, a short but noticeable stint.

What This Means for the Game?

Rahul Easwar survives another week, which keeps one of the house’s most debated personalities in play. Reality shows thrive on contradictions like this: people who disagree constantly can still form the closest bonds. As the season moves deeper, expect alliances to be tested even more.
