Display and Sound
The tablet has a 12.1-inch LCD with 2.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of brightness. It also carries TUV Rheinland certifications for low blue light and flicker-free viewing, which matter if the family watches a lot of video on it.
Quad speakers with Dolby Atmos make it a decent choice for streaming, and the 3.5mm headphone jack is a welcome extra on a modern tablet. The body is listed at 7.5 mm thick in Graphite Grey.
Software, Storage and Pen Support
It runs Xiaomi HyperOS 2 and the listing mentions Gemini Circle to Search. Storage can be expanded up to 2TB, and the listing says RAM can be extended virtually by up to 16GB, though that uses storage.
Active pen support is listed, but check whether the pen is included or sold separately before you buy. Only 349 ratings are on the page, so read recent reviews for long-term feedback.
Who Should Buy It, and Who Should Skip
It suits students and families who want a big-screen tablet for video, reading and light work at a lower price. Skip it if you want a tablet for heavy gaming or professional drawing, or if you need cellular connectivity, since this is a Wi-Fi model.
What Is Not Confirmed
These points are not confirmed from the listing alone:
- Whether the stylus or keyboard is included in the box.
- How many years of software updates Xiaomi will provide.
- How long the price will last, since Amazon deals can end or change without notice.
- The exact terms of the 10% bank discount, such as eligible cards, minimum spend and any cap on the discount.
