Realme Note 60 Secures NBTC Certification; Launch Expected Soon

The company had earlier this year introduced the Realme Note 50 smartphone, and it seems to be ready to drop its stonk with the launch of the Realme Note 60. The device begins appearing on certification databases, with its model number RMX3933 recently seen on Thailand’s NBTC, so a launch isn’t far now. Details like its name were not included in the certification listing, but the certification on NBTC means that Realme is inching towards possibly launching the device soon.

Realme Note 60 NBTC Certification

The Realme Note 60 has also been seen on some other certification databases similar to the ones mentioned above as well – notably SIRIM and TUV. The phone has already received TUV certification, which reveals a 5000mAh battery (4880mAh rated), suggesting there will be a good battery life for long-term use.

The device has also received BIS certification, although Realme has taken to Twitter to confirm that the company has no plans to launch any Note series devices in India, which might mean the device does not make it to the Indian market. The Realme Note 60 is expected to feature the same display options as its predecessor, the Realme Note 50, which has a 6.74-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz high refresh rate for a smooth experience.

Now this year, the Note 60 is also looking to offer a similar display portfolio, fitting its position in the budget segment. The Note 50 runs on a Unisoc T612 processor with a Mali G57 GPU which should give punters a fine ride with general daily tasks although they are getting some lag on the gaming front. The phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with support for 10W charging, which lasts all day without any worries.

For the camera, Realme Note 50 has a dual-rear camera setup that includes a 13MP primary sensor, paired with a 5MP front-facing camera. Those practicalities are further underscored by features like a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack, as well as an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

In summary, the Realme Note 60 is shaping up to be a promising addition to Realme’s lineup, focusing on delivering essential features at an accessible price point, bolstered by its anticipated battery life and potential enhancements in performance and camera capabilities.
