The Dual-Chip Approach to Gaming

The standout feature here is realme pairing its main Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor with a dedicated HyperVision+ AI Chip — a secondary processor specifically handling graphics rendering, frame-rate upscaling, and AI-based resolution enhancement. Offloading these tasks to a separate chip should, in theory, keep the main processor free for core gameplay logic while the secondary chip smooths out visuals — a genuinely different approach from most mid-rangers that rely on a single SoC for everything.

Why the Battery Numbers Stand Out

An 8,000mAh battery is unusually large even by 2026’s inflated battery standards, and pairing it with 80W fast charging — reaching 50% in roughly 28 minutes, per realme’s claims — suggests the brand isn’t sacrificing charging speed to hit that bigger capacity. Combined with triple IP66/68/69 water and dust resistance, this positions the P4s as a genuinely rugged, long-lasting option rather than just a battery-focused gimmick phone. Where It Fits in realme’s Lineup

The P4s 5G joins an already crowded P-series that includes the P4, P4 Pro, and P4x — each targeting slightly different price points within the same broad “performance for the price” positioning. At ₹34,999 for the base variant, the P4s sits in the upper-mid segment, competing directly against phones like the iQOO Z11 and Motorola Edge 70 Fusion.
