Realme to Launch Its First Air Purifier in India Soon

Realme TechLife Air Purifier, the brand’s first in India: ₹7,999 price, HEPA H12 filter, 330m³/h CADR, and 5 modes. Read specs and verdict.

Realme TechLife Air Purifier: The Brand’s First Purifier in India

When Delhi’s air turns thick every winter, a purifier stops being a luxury and starts feeling like a necessity. Realme saw that demand and stepped beyond phones with the Realme TechLife Air Purifier, its first air purifier for India.

The Launch

Realme confirmed it would introduce the appliance in India on September 30, alongside a handheld vacuum and a robot vacuum. It was priced at ₹7,999, with first sales from October 2 at midnight on Realme’s website and Flipkart, and a special price of ₹6,999 during the Big Billion Days sale.

What’s Inside

The purifier uses a three-layer filtration structure. Its HEPA H12 filter is rated at 99.95% efficiency for solid particles of 0.3 microns and above, which covers fine dust and PM2.5. A Japanese Sharp sensor detects PM2.5 levels in real time, and a light indicator shows air quality at a glance.

Performance on Paper

The CADR is 330 cubic metres per hour, and Realme says it covers a 419 square feet room. It takes 14.4 minutes to purify a 30 cubic metre room. Five wind modes and a smart filter-change indicator make it easy to run. These are the company’s own claims, not independent test results.

Filter Costs

Buy the filter with care. Before launch, a retail box reportedly listed the HEPA filter’s MRP at ₹1,499, with the actual selling price expected to be lower. Overseas guidance suggests replacing the filter every four to six months, so budget for that yearly.

Who Should Buy It?

It suits bedrooms and small living rooms of roughly 400 square feet. Larger open-plan homes will want a higher-CADR unit. Realme later showed a Pro version overseas, so check whether newer models fit your budget.

Verdict

The TechLife Air Purifier was a sensible first step: solid filtration claims, simple controls, and a fair price for its class. Confirm the current price and filter availability before buying.
