Realme has finally launched the 5G variant of the Realme 8 smartphone in India, named Realme 8 5G and it is the cheapest 5G smartphone right now in the market. This phone comes with a lot of interesting specifications and that too in aggressive pricing. So, without wasting much time, let’s get into the specifications of this phone.
The Realme 8 5G runs Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset. Regarding the display, this phone offers a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD punch-hole panel supported by a faster refresh rate of 90Hz. This phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Dimensity 700 SoC of this phone is paired with 4GB/8GB of LPDDR4x RAM (with DRE tech) and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage (expandable up to 1TB). Coming to the camera section, this phone offers a triple rear camera setup supported by an LED flash that includes a 48MP primary sensor along with a 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, this phone has a 16MP selfie shooter at the front.
The Realme 8 5G is fueled up by a 5,000mAH battery supported by 18W of fast charging. In terms of connectivity, this phone has support for 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack, and so on. This phone has a thickness of 8.5mm and it weighs around 185 grams.
This phone is available in two different color variants: Supersonic Black and Supersonic Blue.
