Gaming Performance at Budget Pricing
The P4x 5G targets mobile gamers with hardware optimized for sustained performance. The Dimensity 7400 Ultra handles up to 90 FPS gameplay on BGMI and 120 FPS on Free Fire, while the 5300mm² VC Frostcore Cooling System reportedly drops CPU temperatures by 20°C during intensive sessions.
Bypass Charging Technology: During gaming, power routes directly to the motherboard instead of the battery, reducing heat generation by 20°C and improving FPS stability. This feature protects long-term battery health while maintaining peak performance—addressing a common pain point in gaming phones.
RAM Configuration: With up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM plus 10GB virtual RAM expansion, the P4x provides 18GB total memory for seamless multitasking. This matters for gamers who stream gameplay or run communication apps alongside demanding titles.
7000mAh Battery: The Real Star
The headline feature is the massive 7000mAh Titan Battery—among the largest in any smartphone regardless of price segment. realme claims 6 minutes of charging delivers 1 hour of BGMI gameplay, while full 0-100% charging completes in 90 minutes via 45W fast charging.
For context, most gaming phones under ₹20,000 max out at 5000-6000mAh batteries. The P4x’s 7000mAh capacity translates to multi-day usage for typical users and full-day heavy gaming without battery anxiety.
Display and Software
The 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD supports variable refresh rates (60/90/120/144Hz) and peaks at 1000 nits brightness, ensuring outdoor visibility. While not AMOLED, the LCD panel keeps costs down while delivering smooth gaming visuals.
The phone ships with Android 15-based realme UI 6.0, with guaranteed 2 Android OS updates and 3 years of security patches—decent software support for the price segment.
Camera and Build
The 50MP OV50D40 main sensor handles daylight photography adequately, supported by a 2MP depth sensor. The 8MP front camera covers selfies and video calls. IP64 rating provides basic dust and splash resistance, though it’s not fully waterproof.
At 208g and 8.39mm thick, the P4x remains reasonably portable despite the enormous battery. Aerospace-inspired design adds visual flair to the Matte Silver, Elegant Pink, and Lake Green color options.
Pricing and Availability
The realme P4x 5G launches December 10 at 12 PM for 12 hours only with aggressive introductory pricing: 6GB/128GB at ₹13,499, 8GB/128GB at ₹14,999, and 8GB/256GB at ₹16,999 (after ₹2,500 bank offers). Regular pricing starts at ₹15,999.
