The Good Friday holiday gave the film a well-timed boost — Day 16 earnings of ₹21.55 crore were 17.8% higher than the previous day’s ₹18.30 crore. Clearly, audiences are still rushing to theatres in their thousands.
How Big Is This Really?
To put it simply — this has never been done before. The first Dhurandhar (2025) held the record for biggest Hindi blockbuster. The Revenge beat its predecessor’s lifetime Hindi net in just 11 days — a jaw-dropping achievement that has left the entire industry stunned.
Globally, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is also described as the biggest Indian film ever in its first week of overseas release and has become the highest-grossing Indian film ever based on global gross figures.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is a sequel to the original Dhurandhar — learn more about the franchise on Wikipedia.
