Prabhas fans have been waiting on Fauzi, and the latest buzz hints that the wait may end in March. It is still only a report, though.
What’s the Latest on Fauzi?
Fauzi was originally expected in December 2026, but the makers confirmed a delay. According to a Gulte report, the film is now eyeing 18 March 2027. The team is reportedly filming the interval block and aims to wrap the whole shoot by mid-December 2026.
Nothing is official yet. Treat the date as unconfirmed until the makers announce it.

Teaser Tipped for Prabhas’ Birthday
The makers are reportedly planning to drop the teaser on 23 October 2026, Prabhas’ 47th birthday. Birthday reveals are a favourite for star-driven films, so fans can expect a big social media moment if it happens.
What About Spirit?
Here’s the catch. Prabhas’ other big film, Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, was announced for 5 March 2027. Two Prabhas films rarely release in the same month, so if Fauzi takes the March slot, Spirit could be pushed back. This is again speculation, not confirmation.
Prabhas’ Lineup
- The Raja Saab: His last release, directed by Maruthi, which got a mixed response
- Fauzi: A fictional story set against a historical backdrop, with Prabhas as an officer
- Spirit: An action thriller with Triptii Dimri and Vivek Oberoi as the main antagonist
- Kalki 2898 AD Part 2: Already in production
Release dates for big films often shift, so wait for an official announcement. The 23 October teaser is the next milestone to watch, and it may settle the date question.
