Suriya’s Scene Drops Its First Single “Aathi Iva Yarraa”: A Funky, Gamer-Styled Intro for Nazriya Nazim

Suriya fans, your playlist just got an upgrade. The makers of Scene, previously known as Suriya47, have released the first single, “Aathi Iva Yarraa,” and it comes with a fun gamer twist.

Aathi Iva Yarraa: Overview

A Fresh Sound From Sushin Shyam

This is composer Sushin Shyam’s Tamil cinema debut, and he brings his signature electronic pop-funk style, blended with a classical instrument. It’s an unusual mix that sets the film’s energetic tone. Rajpriyan sings the track and also wrote the lyrics.

Nazriya’s Intro Gets a Gamer Twist

The song works as an introduction for Nazriya Nazim Fahadh’s character. The lyrical promo video has a gamer-like look, and it also drops a few quick glimpses of Suriya’s curly hair and punkish new look.

Who Is Suriya Playing?

In the earlier teaser, Suriya plays Inbaraj, a quirky, unpredictable cop. He’s great at catching criminals but terrible at following rules, codes or ethics. With its fun tone, Scene looks like it shares an aesthetic with Jithu Madhavan’s last film, Aavesham. Naslen is expected to play the antagonist.

What’s Next for Suriya?

Suriya was last seen in the romantic drama Vishwanath & Sons, now streaming on Netflix. After Scene, the Suriya lineup continues with the tentatively titled SuriyaXHombale (Suriya48), directed by TJ Gnanavel and produced by Hombale Films, with Kayadu Lohar and Yogi Babu in key roles.
