Evolve Trumbeak during the event or up to four hours afterward to get a Toucannon that knows the Charged Attack Beak Blast—a Flying-type move with serious competitive potential at 110 power in Trainer Battles and 125 power in Gyms and Raids. This limited-time exclusive makes November 30 critical for collectors and battlers alike.

Event Bonuses That Triple Your Gains

The three-hour event window packs incredible value:

Special Research & Field Tasks

For ₹59 (US$1.99), Trainers can access exclusive Community Day Special Research featuring:

Three encounters with Pikipek sporting Tales of Transformation-themed Special Backgrounds
Additional Pikipek encounters
One Premium Battle Pass
One Rare Candy XL
And more rewards

Field Research tasks focused on catching Pikipek will also be available at PokéStops, offering Stardust, Great Balls, and additional Pikipek encounters—some with Special Backgrounds if you’re lucky.

Important note: November Community Day will be the last where featured Pokémon can have Seasonal Special Backgrounds, as Niantic reevaluates Community Day features for next season.

A Final Farewell to Special Backgrounds

This Community Day carries added significance beyond Pikipek’s Shiny debut. Niantic has confirmed they’re trying out new things for Community Day going forward, making this potentially the last event featuring Tales of Transformation-themed Special Backgrounds. For collectors who value these seasonal aesthetics, November 30 is a must-attend event.
