Vivo has finally launched one of their most awaited smartphones today; Vivo X60 Pro+. This is their first flagship smartphone of 2021. There are two main features that force us to look at the smartphone very closely. First, its powerful and stunning camera setup it possesses. Secondly, the latest chipset it operates as Vivo X60 Pro+ is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.
Vivo X60 Pro+ has curved edges and has an average ΔE score of 0.506. The backside of the phone is fully high-quality plain leather. You have two variants in the form of Classic Orange and Phantom Blue. The rectangular glass in the backside of the smartphone hosts four cameras. The smartphone comes with two main cameras, thus, swelling the part of the camera surface. These type of devices becomes too dangerous to carry if you are careless about your devices.
Display
Vivo’s new flagship device is 6.56 inches taller and comes with a resolution of 2376 x 108. It has also a refresh rate of 120hX. This is exactly double what Apple’s iPhone Pro Max is offering currently. Apart from this, the touch sampling rate is 240Hz. Vivo X60 Pro+ also comes with HDR10 & HDR10+ and a dual SIM support (Nano only).
The stunning Snapdragon 888 SoC comes along with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The 12GB LPDDR5 RAM has Memory Fusion Technology which helps them to use 3GB from the storage as additional RAM. In terms of storage, Vivo’s new flagship can be available in 128 GB and 256 GB.

Finally, the Astro Slide 5G has now gone official with a full physical QWERTY keypad. It is said to be the world’s first 5G handset to feature this kind of technology. This phone has a full-sized QWERTY keypad, which sits underneath the display and slides across the base.
Normally, you can’t locate the physical keyboard as it lies underneath the device. When you need it, you can slide it out and use the smartphone in landscape mode. Mainly, the screen will have an inclination upwards and will offer you a better viewing angle, thanks to its hinge mechanism. So, basically, it will work as a tiny laptop or a palmtop. Earlier days, when smartphones were peeping out in the market after the era of normal keypad phones, these types of phones made a big impact in the smartphone world. After that, touch-Android phones started coming into the business and these devices started to go extinct.
Earlier, the company had promised that this phone is going to be launched with the Dimensity 1000 flagship-level chipset. But, it has arrived with a different processor, the MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset. That too is a pretty good 5G enabled chipset.
As per the other specs of the device, this phone is expected to run on the Android 11 OS and as earlier mentioned, it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset. Regarding the display, this device features a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel. The SoC of this phone is paired with 8GB of RAM and 12GB of internal storage (expandable via an external microSD card). This phone supports a USB-C port for charging supported by Qi-standard wireless charging up to 10W. As per its pricing and availability, the Astro Slide 5G is expected to go on sale in June 2021 at a price tag of around 699 US Dollars.
Stumbling to another away defeat at the hands of Leicester City, the pressure has only mounted further on the shoulders of Frank Lampard, whose team are currently 8th in the Premier League.
Speaking on the situation, and possible future of the Chelsea legend as a manager at the club, here is what Fabrizio Romano and Francesco Porzio said on the Here We Go podcast:
“Chelsea board is not so happy with Lampard. They were considering that Lampard must be given time with the new players and time is needed. They respected his position, but the board is really disappointed in the manager after the poor performances. Anything could happen in the coming hours.”
No further communication has taken place between the powers that be at Chelsea and Frank Lampard as of yet, but history proves that poor management is not tolerated long in the Roman era.
Thomas Tuchel is being linked heavily with the job, and the German-speaking manager has been tipped as a possible successor to Lampard due to his past stints with Dortmund and PSG, especially due to his potential to possibly integrate Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Antonio Rudiger better into the squad. Moreover, the reunion between Thiago Silva and Tuchel could also prove to be beneficial.
The face as the head of the Chelsea dugout could change any time, as has been proven many times in the past. It’s all up to Roman Abramovich to decide whether to stick with the Blues legend and give him time or to pull the trigger right now.
Cristiano Ronaldo feels that the Italian Super Cup win will boost the confidence of Juventus.
Juventus won the Italian Super Cup yesterday. They beat Napoli in the final by 2-0. Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace for the Italian champions. Ronaldo’s brace made him the highest official goal scorer of history with 760 goals breaking the record of late Josef Bican’s 758. The Portuguese sensation broke the record in the 66th minute with a close-range finish.
It was the first trophy in the bag for the Italian champions and the first trophy for Andrea Pirlo as the Juventus manager.
Juventus has faced a tough time in the league this season. They are now 5th in the table with 33 points and 10 points behind Milan. Cristiano Ronaldo feels that this win is highly important for the team in the rest of the season. He said, “It was a tough game and the pitch was difficult, but the team stayed focused and we’ve won an important trophy which will give us a confidence boost. We’re very pleased. Now we must use that to win our upcoming fixtures.”
Later he Tweeted, “Very happy with my 4th title in Italy… We are back! This is the Juve we love, this is the team we trust and this is the spirit that will lead to the wins we want! Well done, guys! Fino Alla Fine!”
Juventus will take on Bologna in Serie A on Sunday.
Tomori to Milan is a done deal, as reported by transfer insider Fabrizio Romano on his various social media handles, as well as the Here We Go podcast on Patreon. The Rossoneri’s capture of Mario Mandzukic has already been announced, and the Chelsea centre-back is set to follow suit.
The Italian journalist further reports that in the next day or two, medicals can be expected to take place and then the deal will be official. French defender Mohamed Simakan was the first priority, as reported by many sources, but he sustained an injury and is now linked with Leipzig, although he is expected to be out for about two more months.
Milan have the option to buy Tomori for €30 million, and given that the sum is big, spending, or receiving that kind of money for the player is not certain for either club. Brahim Diaz and Diogo Dalot are on loan at the San Siro, and whether or not a permanent deal will be pursued for the loanees is not yet final.
Paulo Maldini on Tomori🗣️: "We wanted Fikayo Tomori last summer also. He's always been one of our targets. We have seen in him some characteristics that are right for us. He's perfect for our squad."
High praise from one of the best defenders of all-time!
The club sit at the top of the Serie A table, 3 points clear of city rivals Inter Milan, and have been in tremendous form as of late. The addition of a talented youngster like Tomori to their ranks will only make things better for the club in terms of their chances to potentially dethrone Juventus.
Arguably Inter’s player of the hour due to his outstanding performance in the Nerazzurri’s victory over Juventus, Nicolo Barella is attracting a lot of praise due to his assist and goal against the reigning Serie A champions as Antonio Conte’s team managed to dispatch his former playing club at the San Siro.
Barella is currently scoring and is also assisting. He is almost always playing the full 90 minutes for the club and is very important to the success of the team this season. Fans and tactically sound pundits have heralded the 23-year-old as the “perfect Conte player”.
Naturally, given the nature of modern football, it only takes a few good performances and a glimpse of potential to get big clubs interested in young talent. Hence, speaking on the issue, Fabrizio Romano and Francesco Porzio said on the Here We Go podcast on Patreon that clubs like Spurs and Bayern are interested in the player but nothing concrete has been achieved yet.
Moreover, the general feeling around the club is that he could be the future captain and is set on staying at the club, being very content with his position under the current manager.
Barella joined Inter Milan in 2019, on an initial loan deal from Cagliari and has since made the switch permanent. Inter paid €28 million for his signature as a permanent player this past summer, and he has since become one of the first names on the team sheet.
Clubs will have to pay more than double his last transfer fee, almost €80 million for him if they want to sign him, and it is practically impossible to do so in the current transfer market window.
Rumours surrounding a potential exit from London for Tottenham player Dele Alli have been doing the rounds for a good few weeks now. The youngster finds himself out of the squad right now, barely featuring under Jose Mourinho this season.
Speaking on the player’s future on the Here We Go podcast, Fabrizio Romano and Francesco Porzio mentioned that updates could be expected to be heard in the next few days. According to the duo, Alli has been pushing to leave the club since November.
Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy’s decision will determine whether the player will leave sooner or later. However, the general feeling is that Alli will be leaving the club on loan.
Jose Mourinho says that he can go out, according to Romano and Porzio. PSG have been the most heavily linked destination for Alli since they need a player that fits the creative midfielder bill, and Alli more than compensates for a potential target.

Paris’ new manager Mauricio Pochettino loves Alli as a player much more than Christian Eriksen, and the two know each other well from their time together at Tottenham. However, all that said, no green light has been given to the transfer at the moment. People around the player are still pushing for a potential loan move away.
The staff at Spurs know that they can’t continue like this and that Dele Alli needs to play. A loan till the end of the season seems to be the only solution that works out in favour of all the parties involved.
AMD has recently announced its new Ryzen 5000 series processors for laptops and has introduced the world’s first overclockable processors or the Ryzen 5000HX series. Indeed the new Ryzen 9 5900HX is a total beast when it comes to performance and it is evident from the recent Passmark numbers.
While still it is not the fastest of the entire AMD Cezanne gaming lineup but manages to top the chart in both single and multi-threaded benchmarks. AMD now has the crown for best gaming CPUs until Intel makes 11th Gen commercially available, so it was kind of expected from AMD to lead the charts.
As for now the new 8 core, 16 threaded unlocked AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX stands out way ahead of the competition, beating its own Ryzen 9 4900HS predecessor, scoring a hefty 24,039 points in multi-threaded performance. Whereas in single-core performance, the 5900HX also topped the ranking with 3365 points.
All thanks to the new Zen 3 architecture and having a 3.3 GHz base and up to 4.7 GHz boost clock frequencies. It even beats Intel’s new Core i7-1185G7 and its wonders to me how the flagship Ryzen 9 5980HX will perform. As for now, you’ll see more of the Ryzen 9 5900HX on a wide range of upcoming gaming laptops.
The world’s biggest semiconductor foundry is keeping on pushing its limits by achieving new heights every year. In 2020, they had an amazing financial year with the 5nm process launch and keeping on increasing their 7nm node capacities.
In 2021, the market will shift more towards 5nm and focus on the development of the 3nm process as well. While the Taiwanese silicon giant invested US$17.2 billion in 2020, TSMC plans to invest around US$25 billion and US$28 billion on capital expenditures in 2021.
While 80% of this capital will be used for advanced process technologies, including 3nm, 5nm, and 7nm. Whereas around 10% will be assigned to advanced packaging and mask manufacturing technologies, and the rest 10% will be assigned to specialized technology.
However, TSMC looks to target the high-performance computing (HPC) currently dominated by AMD who solely uses TSMC’s 7nm nodes. So, TSMC cites stronger-than-expected demand for 5nm process in 2021.
Mark Liu, chairman of TSMC, said: “HPC will be a key growth driver for our business. There is an exciting change happening in this area right now. Everyone is trying to get the best performance using different architectures. The number of players entering HPC is growing even more.”
Matt Bryson, senior vice president of Wedbush Securities, said in a comment to the U.S. EE Times, “Trends such as the current state of foundries, the rise of 5G (fifth-generation mobile communications) content and smartphones, Apple’s continued in-house development of ICs, and AMD’s increased share are: It justifies TSMC’s increased production capacity. These are the backings of TSMC’s increase in business fixed investment. “Some of the increased capital expenditures will be allocated to 3nm development, which is also consistent with Intel’s timidity to shift some of its mainstream CPU manufacturing to TSMC.”
What do you think about TSMC’s investment in 2021 and what upcoming products you expect on TSMC’s nodes?
