Apple delays its 27-inch external Mini-LED Display yet again

0

According to display industry analyst Ross Young, who has a very good track record with rumours about future Apple products, Apple’s rumoured 27-inch external display with mini-LED backlighting is no longer expected to launch in the first quarter of 2023.

Young stated that he has seen no signs of the display going into mass production, implying that a launch is not imminent. The Apple display appears to have been delayed several times, with Young expecting it to debut in June 2022, then in October, and finally in the first quarter of 2023.

The Apple display will support ProMotion, allowing for a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

Given the rumoured 27-inch size, the display could be a next-generation Studio Display, but it could also be a new model positioned between the Studio Display and the more expensive Pro Display XDR. The current Studio Display has a 5K resolution but no ProMotion and starts at $1,599.

The Pro Display XDR was released in December 2019 alongside a new Mac Pro, while the Studio Display was released in March 2022 alongside the Mac Studio.

Julian Araujo to Barcelona only a matter of time despite CAS appeal

0

Barcelona have no intentions of giving up in their pursuit of Julian Araujo of LA Galaxy. Things were all set for the transfer to go through, but the deal fell through by only 18 seconds due to a delay on the Transfer Matching System.

Barcelona Vice President Mateu Alemany has provided some clarity on the move, asserting that he will join the club down the line.

Julian Araujo to officially sign for Barcelona in the near future

“We have been following him for a long time. If they reject the appeal, he will play five months out and then he will join Barcelona Atletic,” Alemany said recently.

Barcelona had appealed for the transfer to be validated to the CAS. But as things stand, they have not come to a conclusion yet.

Even if the court rejects Barcelona’s plea, the plan is for him to join next summer. There is an agreement with the right-back over a three-year contract and personal terms.

Julian Araujo has made 109 appearances for the MLS side since making his debut in 2019. And in that time, he has scored two goals and provided 14 assists. With a lot of experience under his belt, he could be an exciting young signing for the Catalonian side.

The youngster played at the Barcelona Academy in Arizona in 2018, and has also trained at La Masia. As a result, it seems only a matter of time before he is holding up the Barcelona shirt.

Real Madrid win their 100th trophy!

0

Despite being a football club, Real Madrid scored a century yesterday. The Spanish giants won their 100th trophy in history to become the greatest club on the planet. Real Madrid are football heritage, having won the UEFA Champions League trophy a record 14 times.

Los Blancos has now won the FIFA Club World Cup beating Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal by a 5-3 margin. The Club World Cup trophy becomes the 100th trophy won by Real Madrid.

There was no shortage of goals from the two sides, and the scoring started in the 13th minute itself. Vinicius Jr slid the ball past Abdullah Al Mayouf to get things going as he yet produced another marvellous performance along with midfield ace Valverde.

Real Madrid win their 100th trophy!

However, in spite of the win, further questions will be asked of Real Madrid’s defence after their performance last night. The team has very often outscored their opponents on big margins. But, they will need to fortify things at the back if they are to replicate the success from last season.ย

But right now, the whole team is on top of the world after becoming world champions and etching their name in the history books after winning the 100th trophy for their club.

AC Milan trying to sign Naby Keita on a free transfer in June 2023

AC Milan are moving in to sign Naby Keita on a free transfer after his contract with Liverpool expires this summer. The midfielder is on his way out of the club, since his deal will not be extended. And the Rossoneri are now trying to sign him, after a similar move for Divock Origi a year ago.

He showed a lot of promise when he made the move to the Premier League from RB Leipzig for โ‚ฌ60 million. But, injuries and inconsistent form have hampered his progress in England. And now, he is in his final months at the club with an exit the most likely solution.

Naby Keita close to signing for AC Milan in the summer

Keita has made 127 appearances for the club over the last five years, but most of them have been from the bench. There were offers for him during the January transfer window as well, but Jurgen Klopp blocked his exit due to the lack of options.

The injury crisis at Liverpool has been very difficult to deal with this season. Moreover, the likes of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho have been out of form. And Arthur, who was signed as a replacement, has also failed to feature for the team.

RB Leipzig are also interested in bringing back Naby Keita to the Bundesliga. But as things stand, Milan are ahead in the race to sign him. The decision will remain up to the player since he could take up a new challenge, or return to familiar settings in Germany.

Real Madrid crowned 2023 FIFA World Cup winners with a 5-3 win over Al Hilal

0

Real Madrid have won the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup in a 5-3 win over Al Hilal in the finals. The Spanish giants have won their 100th trophy in the process, a remarkable feat for the most successful club in Europe.

There was no shortage of goals from the two sides, and the scoring started in the 13th minute itself. Vinicius Jr slid the ball past Abdullah Al Mayouf to get things going before Federico Valverde doubled their lead with a stunning shot from the edge of the box.ย

The midfielder built further on his reputation of scoring eye-catching goals. He has now reached the 10-goal mark for the season, as predicted by Carlo Ancelotti. And in doing so, he has saved the Italian’s coaching licence.

Moussa Marega pulled one back for the Saudi Arabian club before halftime, and more goals followed in the second period.

Karim Benzema joined the scoresheet in the second half, while Valverde and Vinicius made it two to their name. Luciano Vietto was able to score a brace to provide some hope for his side.

But in the end, it was too little to overcome the deficit that was created by Los Blancos.

In spite of the win, further questions will be asked of Real Madrid’s defence after their performance last night. The team has very often outscored their opponents on big margins. But, they will need to fortify things at the back if they are to replicate the success from last season.

Paul Pogba still unavailable – Max Allegri has no clue about his return date

0

Juventus manager Max Allegri has offered a new update on Paul Pogba’s return from injury.

And as things stand, there is no development in his fitness. As a result, he is still a long way from making his second debut for the club, having signed as a free agent this past summer after leaving Manchester United for a second time.ย

Allegri still doesn’t know when Paul Pogba will be available

“Paul Pogba is not available,” Allegri said before Juventus’ Serie A clash with Fiorentina this weekend, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

“He canโ€™t be part of the team, Iโ€™m sorry but this is the reality now. Heโ€™s still injured and I donโ€™t know when he will be back. Iโ€™m waiting for him.”

The midfielder is yet to play a single competitive game in 10 months since multiple setbacks have prevented him from being cleared. And if things don’t improve quickly, he could end the season without making any appearances at all – in spite of being one of the top earners at the club.ย

He will have three years left on his contract at the end of the season, but with his poor fitness record, there is a chance it could be terminated early. However, as things stand, Juventus are not considering any such decision.ย

The Bianconeri are currently in mid-table, following their 15-point deduction due to false accounting.

BGT 1st Test: KL Rahul’s Controversial Performance, Should He Get Another Chance in the Next Test?

KL Rahul‘s Test performance and the controversy surrounding his selection have been a topic of discussion in the cricket community, as India took on Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test cricket series. In the first Test match in Nagpur, The opener was dismissed for 20 off 71 balls, playing a loose shot off the bowling of Australian spinner Todd Murphy.

Former Indian cricketer Venkatesh Prasad has criticized Team India selectors for giving KL Rahul so many chances despite his below-par performances. Prasad called Rahul’s average of 34 after 46 tests in international cricket as “ordinary.” He also claimed that Rahul’s selection as vice-captain is based on “favouritism” and not on merit. Prasad also questioned the Indian team management’s decision to go with Rahul instead of Shubman Gill, who is also in the squad.

Prasad compared Rahul’s performance with other players such as Mayank Agarwal, Hanuma Vihari, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Ravindra Jadeja, who he believed have had a better impact in Tests. He also criticized the lack of vocalism among team India members on such “favouritism.”

Controversy Surrounds KL Rahul’s Selection and Performance in India vs Australia Test Series

Even veteran cricketer Kapil Dev had raised questions about KL Rahul’s selection before the India-Australia Test series. He said, “I consider him to be a fine batter but if he doesn’t fit in the team, then let it be.”

Despite Rahul’s poor performance in the first Test, the Indian team went on to win the match by an innings and 132 runs. Rohit Sharma scored a fantastic century, and Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel both scored half-centuries. Mohammed Shami also contributed some quickfire runs to help India reach the 400-run mark. India then bowled out the Australian team for an embarrassing 91 runs in the second innings.

The question remains, should KL Rahul be given another chance in the next Test, or should he be replaced by someone else? It’s a tough call for the Indian team management, but it will be interesting to see their decision. The decision ultimately rests on the captain and the management of the team, as the team’s success always comes first. Regardless of their decision, the controversy surrounding KL Rahul’s performance is sure to continue.

India Strikes Strong in 1st Test Match: Dominates Australia with Historic Innings and 132 Run Victory

0

The Indian cricket team lived up to its reputation as it thrashed Australia in the first Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series that took place in Nagpur on February 11. The match, held at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur, saw India beat Australia by an innings and 132 runs, giving them a 1-0 lead in the four-match series. The game was a complete domination by the home team as they dominated the match from start to finish, leaving the Kangaroos in shock.

India got off to a strong start, taking a commanding first-innings lead of 223. The Australian team was then bowled out for just 91 in the second session, thanks to a five-wicket haul by off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. Ashwin’s probing length and impressive bowling saw him run through the Australian top order and take his 31st fifer in just his 10th over. Ravindra Jadeja (2/34), Mohammed Shami (2/13) and Axar Patel (1/6) completed the job and ensured the Australian team was unable to mount a comeback.

Australia’s first innings total of 177 was no match for India’s impressive 400, with standout performances from Rohit Sharma (120), Axar Patel (84), and Ravindra Jadeja (70). The left-handed Patel, who was overnight 52, displayed his calm and controlled batting skills to provide India with a solid depth at number 9.

Debutant off-spinner Tod Murphy was the pick of the Australian attack, returning with impressive figures of 47-12-124-7. However, it was not enough to stop the dominant Indian team.

India Claims Victory in Test Match Domination Against Australia

The social media erupted in celebration of India’s win, with fans and cricket enthusiasts taking to Twitter to express their joy and excitement. Brief scores of the Test match were Australia 1st innings: 177 and 2nd innings: 91 all out in 32.3 overs (Ravichandran Ashwin 5/37) and India 1st innings: 400 all out in 139.3 overs (Rohit Sharma 120, Axar Patel 84, Ravindra Jadeja 70; Todd Murphy 7/124).

Twitter was buzzing with reactions from cricket lovers, experts, and former cricketers who praised the performance of the Indian team. Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag praised the performance of the Indian cricketers and said “Well done, Boys.” He went on to say that India batted skillfully, which is what Test cricket demands, and that Australia seemed to have lost the match before it even began.

Sachin Tendulkar, who is also known as the “God of cricket,” was also impressed with the Indian team’s performance. He said, “India were 5 down even before we got the lead, and now we are ahead by 223 runs. Speaks a lot about our batting depth and contributions by our lower order. Well done @akshar2026 & @MdShami11!”

Krishnakumar Dinesh Karthik, an Indian cricketer and commentator, praised the Indian team for their dominant win. He tweeted, “India dominated the Test from the start to finish. Terrific start to the #BorderGavaskarTrophy!”

Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer congratulated Team India and said, “Never judge a pitch until both teams have batted on it. If both teams struggle, it’s the pitch. If just one team struggles, it’s the skills. Well played Team India #INDvAUS.”

Venkatesh Prasad, a former Indian cricketer, coach, and commentator, expressed his happiness and congratulated the Indian team. He praised Ravindra Jadeja’s excellent performance with both the bat and the ball. He also praised Rohit Sharma for his brilliant century and the all-round skills of Ashwin, Shami, and Akshar Patel.
