OPPO A53s 5G launched in India with 8GB RAM and Dimensity 700 chipset

OPPO A53s 5G has finally arrived and is technically the cheapest 5G smartphone in India. The smartphone is the first mid-range 5G smartphone from the company in India. In this price segment, we have few other smartphones like Realme 8 5G, Realme Narzo 30 Pro, and Realme X7. All these smartphones are priced under Rs.20,000 in India.

Specifications and Features:

OPPO A53s 5G features a 6.52-inch HD+ display and at the back, we get a triple-rear camera setup featuring a 13MP primary sensor along with two 2MP sensors. At the front, the phone comes with a drop-notch display that houses an 8MP selfie camera. In the camera section, the company has already disappointed us, as most of the devices at this price range offer a better camera setup.

Apart from this, the smartphone features MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset paired with 6GB and 8GB RAM. This device will have only one internal storage option of 128GB. The maximum OTG storage allowed on this device is 2TB and the internal storage can be expanded up to 1TB. It has a RAM expansion feature that re-optimizes the unused RAM to improve the performance of this smartphone.

OPPO A53s 5G runs on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11. It has a 5,000mAh battery, but the company has not mentioned any fast-charging for this device. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-Mode 5G, ultra-clear eye care display, and others. The phone has two colour options – Crystal Blue and Ink Black.

  1. Oppo A53s seems to be a really good option for the users and along with its Mediatek chipset, its battery too seems to be so good.

  2. Oppo should bring such phones more often now. Low costs and powerful Mediatek 5G chipsets really attract the users.
