OPPO F35 Series Campaign: Bobby Deol and Divyenndu Sharma Say “Jitna Bada Dil, Utni Badi Selfie”

We’ve all lived this moment. Someone shouts “thoda aur peeche!”, three more relatives wander in, and somehow the cousin at the edge still gets cropped out. OPPO India is building a campaign around exactly that chaos, ahead of the OPPO F35 Series launch.

OPPO F35 Series: Overview

What’s the Campaign About?

The idea is simple: the bigger your heart, the more people you want in the frame. The three films use humour and familiar Indian social settings to show how a group selfie turns into a moment of togetherness. The stories cover:

• A whole mohalla gathering for one shot
• A crowded family get-together where everyone insists on being included
• An enthusiastic fan club determined to get the perfect photo

Bobby Deol and Divyenndu Sharma play out the exaggerated lengths people go to so nobody is left out. The films will roll out across OPPO India’s digital platforms, social media channels and video networks.

What the Stars Said

Bobby Deol said the best pictures capture a feeling, not just a face, and that nobody wants to decide who gets left out. Divyenndu Sharma joked that a group selfie in India is rarely just a selfie, and that it’s usually five people calling over three more.

OPPO India’s Head of Communications, Goldee Patnaik, said the F Series is rooted in everyday consumer realities and that the F35 Series puts imaging at the forefront.

The Camera Features Behind the Pitch

Here is what OPPO is highlighting:

The wide front camera is the star. The 100° field of view is meant to fit more people into one frame while keeping skin tones and details natural. OPPO says the other features are woven into the stories rather than presented as spec lists.

Conclusion

This is a brand campaign, so the claims come from OPPO itself and haven’t been independently tested. Still, the idea works because it’s relatable. Group photos are a real pain point, and a wide selfie lens is a practical answer. The real question is how the F35 Series performs in everyday use once reviews arrive.
