One Piece Season 4: Has Netflix Already Set Sail on a Renewal?

Fans of Netflix’s live-action One Piece adaptation are never short on detective work, and this time, their sleuthing might actually be onto something big. While Season 3 is still deep in post-production, a growing pile of clues has convinced the fandom that Season 4 may already be quietly greenlit.

The Clues Fans Are Pointing To

The biggest tip-off came from the stunt team. A stunt performer’s Instagram story hinted at a return to Cape Town, South Africa — the show’s main filming hub — for “something” next year. Around the same time, a comment referencing Season 4 prep briefly appeared on a trainer’s social post before being deleted, only fueling more speculation. Add in a wrap-up post from an actor thanking the show for “another epic season finale,” and Reddit’s r/OnePieceLiveAction is convinced the pieces add up to an early renewal.

One Piece S4: Overview

Do the Viewership Numbers Support It?

Season 2 pulled solid numbers, though slightly down from Season 1’s historic debut, dropping around 32% by day 14. It’s a reminder that renewal chatter isn’t just about hype — it also depends on sustained viewership, something Netflix weighs carefully before committing to expensive live-action seasons.

When Could We Get Official Word?

Fans expect Netflix to attach any Season 4 news to the first Season 3 teaser trailer, or save it for a major Tudum or Geeked Week event. If filming begins in 2027, Season 4 could realistically premiere by late 2028.
