NVIDIA DLSS 4 Expands to More Games, Bringing Huge Performance Gains

Alongside the introduction of new NVIDIA app override features and the experimental launch of Project G-Assist System Assistant, the GeForce maker has also provided updates on upcoming games supporting DLSS technology. The DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation is now available in the Half-Life 2 RTX demo, which debuted last week.

NVIDIA DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation Now Supported in Warhammer 40K Darktide, Enlisted, and KARMA: The Dark World

The update also brings NVIDIA technologies like RTX Direct Illumination, RTX Neural Radiance Cache, RTX Volumetrics, RTX Skin, and more. This technology will also debut in MMOFPS Enlisted by Darkflow software and published by Gaijin. Having added support for DLSS Super Resolution and ray-traced global illumination previously, the game has added support for Multi Frame Generation. This also means that those with GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs can enjoy up to a 4.3x increase in their frame rates at 4K resolution with max settings and Performance Mode enabled.

Another recent release, on the other hand, RF Online Next, a Netmarble N2 MMORPG powered by Unreal Engine 5, was released in South Korea with day-one support for DLSS Super Resolution. On the 25th March, Fatshark dropped their “Nightmares and Visions” update into Warhammer 40K: Darktide. The game already supported Super Resolution and Frame Generation, but now it’s been upgraded to DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation — improving image quality and performance.

The First Berserker: Khazan, developed by NEXON, also supports DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation. However, gamers will need to enable the transformer model through the NVIDIA app override. NVIDIA reports an average 3.5x increase in performance at 4K max settings with Performance Mode on. The game is currently available for Deluxe Edition buyers, with the official launch set for March 27.

This Thursday will also mark the release of KARMA: The Dark World, an indie first-person cinematic psychological thriller. The game features built-in support for DLSS Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and NVIDIA Reflex, while the DLSS 4 transformer model and Multi Frame Generation can be enabled via the NVIDIA app. Looking ahead, FBC: Firebreak is set to launch this summer with NVIDIA DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation and advanced path tracing features similar to those seen in Alan Wake 2.
