Is There A Nintendo Switch 2?
There is a recent report saying that Nintendo Switch 2 is on its way and will launch in March 2024. It says that next month the company is going to reveal the hardware of the Nintendo Switch 2. However, till now Nintendo even has acknowledged the existence of the Switch 2, which is very confusing.
The origin of the report is Nate Drake aka Nate the Hate, a well-known name in the gaming industry for being a highly reliable industry insider for news and updates related to Nintendo. He has claimed on a recent podcast named Game and Talk that “Nintendo will announce the Switch 2 in March (2024). Everything I’m hearing dating back to Gamescom last year has indicated something was happening in March. That talk has resurfaced in the past few weeks, and it is indicating that the Switch 2 is set for a reveal or an announcement in March.”
As he further mentions, in the Gamescom 2024 he heard that something important related to Nintendo Switch 2 can be announced in March. However, back then he was not sure what the important announcement or event would be. But according to him now he knows that it’s the revelation of Nintendo Switch 2.
Also, there is one source from which we are hearing about Nintendo Switch 2 coming down in March 2024. This is from Universo Nintendo by Felipe.
As he has written in his report, his sources have also corroborated the same as Nate, in March 2024.
Felipe further adds that his sources add that “multiple development companies/publishing partners of Nintendo are preparing to announce their projects, and that several retail stores are moving to prepare the start of pre-sales of the system.”
So, we can say that these rumors do hold some ground. However, just like it’s the case with all rumours we have to take this with a grain of salt.
