The Hosts — A Perfect Pairing
On March 17, the 3rd Asia Star Entertainer Awards announced that MONSTA X’s Hyungwon and IVE’s Rei will be the hosts for the first day of the upcoming awards ceremony on May 16. Rotten Tomatoes
It’s a pairing that practically writes itself. Hyungwon — MONSTA X’s beloved visual and DJ — brings years of stage charisma to the MC chair, while Rei, IVE’s Japanese-born powerhouse, adds a natural bilingual warmth that resonates deeply with the Japanese-hosted event’s audience. Fans of both acts immediately flooded social media with excitement, and with good reason — these two know exactly how to work a room of thousands.
The Performers — Already Elite
The Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026 has dropped its first lineup including ATEEZ, &TEAM, and Hearts2Hearts. &TEAM is set to perform on May 16, the first day, while ATEEZ and Hearts2Hearts will take the stage on May 17. Movie Insider
The second lineup has since been revealed, featuring top-tier K-pop group ENHYPEN and performance powerhouse Xikers. Wikipedia ENHYPEN successfully carried out the large-scale world tour ‘WALK THE LINE’, captivating some 676,000 spectators at stadiums across the globe — and claimed a total of five grand prize trophies at major awards shows including MAMA and ASEA itself. More performers and presenters are set to be announced progressively via the official ASEA website in the coming weeks.
Why ASEA Is Getting Bigger Every Year
Launched in 2024, the Asia Star Entertainer Awards has quickly emerged as a major awards ceremony celebrating artists who have made a global impact across music, television, film, and digital entertainment across Asia. Revolt.tv ASEA 2025, held in Yokohama’s K-Arena, attracted about 37,000 visitors over two days IMDb — and this year’s move to the vast Belluna Dome signals organisers are ready to take a massive leap forward.
The first annual award show was broadcast on Naver TV; last year, Abema and TBS telecasted it in Japan, and Dalda broadcast it worldwide. Wikipedia Fans can expect the same multi-platform approach for 2026, making it accessible to K-pop communities across the globe.
