Design

The XUV700 has a bold and aggressive design with a muscular front grille, sharp LED headlamps, and a sloping roofline. It is available in both five-seater and seven-seater options. The interior of the car is spacious and comes with premium features such as a large touchscreen infotainment system, leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, and more.

Engine

The XUV700 is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol variant comes with a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that produces 200 horsepower, while the diesel variant comes with a 2.2-litre engine that produces 185 horsepower. However, in New Zealand, the car will be available only in Petrol and so the 2.0-litre turbocharged engine is the only option available.

Safety

Mahindra has equipped the XUV700 with a host of safety features such as front and side airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, and more. It also comes with advanced driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and autonomous emergency braking.

Variants

The XUV700 is available in four different variants – MX, AX3, AX5, and AX7. The prices have been kept competitive, starting at $36,990 for AX5, $40,990 for AX7 and $43,990 for the AX7 Luxury. The car will also be available in 5 colors: Everest White, Midnight Black, Dazzling Silver, Red Rage and Electric Blue.
