What Sparked the Confrontation
After re-entering the house as a wild card by defeating Dheeraj Dhoopar in a challenge, Yogesh Rawat was seen bragging to fellow contestants — including Ram Kapoor, Akanksha Choudhary, Akanksha Chamola, and Pamela Serena — about his popularity outside the show. He claimed that hashtags demanding his return trended online after his elimination, and suggested the show’s TRPs had dropped so significantly that makers were forced to bring him back.
Riteish Deshmukh Steps In
Overhearing the conversation, Riteish entered the house visibly upset and directly challenged Yogesh’s claims, reminding him that no single contestant is bigger than the show, the platform, or the team behind it. He pointed out that dismissing the show’s ratings dismisses everyone involved — himself, Farah Khan, Netflix, and the entire production team. Riteish made it clear the show doesn’t need any one contestant and warned he could remove Yogesh from the house on the spot.
Yogesh Backs Down
When Yogesh tried to defend his comments as simply expressing how he felt, Riteish shut the justification down. Realizing the seriousness of the moment, Yogesh quickly apologized and assured the host he had no intention of leaving the show.
