How the Rankings Work?
The Korean Business Research Institute analysed 50 popular variety programmes using big data collected from August 6 to September 6. The score blends five factors: consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness and viewership. The result is a snapshot of which shows are generating the most real buzz, not just ratings.

The Big Story: My Little Old Boy’s Surge
While How Do You Play? held the number one spot with a modest rise, the real headline is My Little Old Boy. A jump of nearly 25 percent in its score pushed it firmly into second place, far ahead of the pack’s growth. Running Man also impressed, climbing almost 10 percent and finishing just a whisker behind You Quiz on the Block in fourth.
The Rest of the Top 20
Rounding out places six to ten are Radio Star, The Manager, Immortal Songs, National Singing Contest and I Live Alone. The second half of the top 20 includes Gayo Stage, Whenever Possible, The Return of Superman, Golden Friday, Gag Concert, Legendary Man, Boss in the Mirror, Knowing Bros, Mr. House Husband and Same Bed, Different Dreams.
Where to Start Watching?
