September is almost over, and if your watchlist looks a little chaotic, you’re in good company. 1. The Ordinary Jackpot

Most of us know what we’d do after winning the lottery: quit, book a flight, never check email again. Gong Eun Tae, played by Lee Jun Hyuk, does the opposite. He’s an ordinary sales employee who wins the jackpot and walks into work the very next day with a completely different outlook on life. It’s a feel-good premise about what really makes a job, or a life, worth showing up for, and it’s easy to see why it struck a chord.

2. My Bias, My Boss

Every fan has imagined meeting their favorite idol, but Nam Da Reum (Kim Hye Jun) actually takes a job to make it happen. This webtoon-based romance follows her as she joins a company hoping to meet her longtime idol, Lee Chan (Cha Woo Min). Then comes the twist: the company’s CEO, Kang Ha Gi (Kang Hoon), enters the picture. Expect the classic love-triangle tension, plus the sweet chaos of a fangirl navigating office life.’

3. A Bona Fide Killer

Think your job is stressful? Meet Yu Bo Na, played by Kong Hyo Jin. By day she’s the seemingly ordinary manager of Sales Team 3 at Durumi Electronics. Secretly, she’s the legendary sniper known as “Kingfisher.” This action drama is about a working mother with a lethal job, fighting to protect her work-life balance. It blends relatable everyday pressure with high-stakes action, which is a big part of its appeal.

4. One-Room TA

Not everything on the list is live-action. This animated BL romance is based on a manhwa and follows college sophomore Uyun, who falls for the handsome, introverted TA Jin Hyeong. After impulsively confessing, Uyun ends up as his roommate and discovers that Jin Hyeong is very different from the calm TA he knows on campus. The story runs on that gap between public image and private self, which makes for plenty of charm and slow-burn moments.

5. The Affair Was Just the Beginning

This black comedy boasts a heavyweight cast: Kim Hye Soo, Kim Ji Hun, Cho Yeo Jeong, and Kim Jae Chul. A popular influencer couple sells the image of a perfect, happy family. Next door lives a doctor couple locked in a bitter divorce battle. When both households become entangled in an overwhelming secret, even an affair starts to look trivial. It’s messy, sharp, and made for viewers who love drama with a wicked sense of humor.
