Top 5 Korean Shows Ruling Viki This July 2026

From nostalgic reunions to soul-swap comedy, here’s what Korean drama fans couldn’t stop streaming this summer. Summer binge-watching just got a serious upgrade. As July wraps up, Viki has revealed the five Korean shows that captured the most love from fans this month — and the list spans everything from romance to reality dating drama.

The Top 5 Shows of the Month

“Dream to You” leads the list as a heartfelt romantic comedy centered on the reunion of genius film director Woo Soo Bin, played by Hwang In Youp, who returns home after achieving his dreams, and reporter Ju Yi Jae, played by Hyeri, who has lost sight of her own along the way. The emotional push-and-pull between two people at very different points in their lives has clearly struck a chord with viewers this month.

“Guardian: The Lonely and Great God 10th Anniversary” brought major nostalgia, celebrating a decade since the beloved drama “Goblin” became a global phenomenon. The special reunites Gong Yoo, Kim Go Eun, Lee Dong Wook, and Yoo In Na as they travel to Gangneung to revisit iconic filming locations, share behind-the-scenes memories, and reflect on the show’s lasting cultural impact. For longtime fans, this anniversary special offered a rare and touching trip down memory lane.

“Reborn Rookie” took a fresh spin on the popular body-swap trope, following Kang Yong Ho, played by Son Hyun Joo, the powerful chairman of conglomerate Choiseong Group, whose soul unexpectedly ends up in the young body of soccer player Hwang Jun Hyun, played by Lee Jun Young, after an accident. Forced to restart his career as a rookie employee at his own company, the premise blends humor with sharp corporate commentary, making it one of the month’s standout hits.

“Family Register” delivered the emotional depth fans crave, telling the story of a child branded from birth as the reason a family fell apart, and a woman fighting against society’s judgment and cruel fate to reclaim her life. The drama stars Park Se Young as Na Ji Ni, Han Go Eun as her mother and cellist Na Se Ri, and Jeon No Min as her father Cha Min Ki, delivering a gripping, tearjerking family drama.

Rounding out the list, “Heart Signal 5” kept the reality dating genre alive, following singles searching for love while living together as a celebrity panel tries to guess who’s falling for whom. This season’s prediction panel features returning favorites Yoon Jong Shin, Lee Sang Min, and Kim Eana, joined by new additions Roy Kim and Billlie’s Tsuki, adding fresh energy to the beloved format.
