Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: The Aftermath of Forbidden Fruit

Our journey begins in the wake of the Forbidden Fruit quest. If you’ve already helped Miller Kreyzl pilfer documents from the Rathaus and sampled some questionable nitre, you’re in for an even wilder ride. Opus Magnum kicks off immediately after Forbidden Fruit, thrusting you into a web of intrigue that’s about to get a whole lot more complicated.

The Wedding Planner’s Dilemma

Kreyzl, our enigmatic miller, has a new task for you – one that seems innocuous at first glance. He needs a companion for a wedding, and guess who’s been volunteered as matchmaker? That’s right, you! But as with everything in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, what starts as a simple errand quickly spirals into a complex adventure.

Step 1: The Bathhouse Bust

Your first stop on this Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 walkthrough is Zhelejov. Here, you’ll need to chat with Dorothy, the local bathhouse owner. Despite her best efforts to round up some willing participants, you’ll find yourself striking out. But don’t worry, Dorothy has another lead for you – Enneleyn at the Nomad Camp.

Step 2: Negotiating with Enneleyn

At the Nomad Camp, you’ll find Enneleyn, who agrees to be Kreyzl’s companion – but there’s a catch. She has a shopping list that would make any medieval fashionista swoon. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves a scavenger hunt across Troskowitz.

Step 3: The Medieval Shopping Spree

Here’s what you need to collect:

1. A Tyrol brocade cotehardie from Tailor Bartoshek (Pro tip: Consider upgrading your own wardrobe while you’re there!)
2. Mintha perfume from Innkeeper Betty (You can buy it, persuade her to give it to you, or even brew it yourself if you’re feeling alchemical)
3. A bottle of fine wine from any local tavern

Once you’ve gathered these items, return to Enneleyn at the Nomad Camp. Congratulations, you’ve just become a medieval wedding planner!

The Plot Thickens: Alchemy and Intrigue

Now that the wedding preparations are underway, it’s time to tackle the real meat of this Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 walkthrough – the mysterious alchemy book at Trosky Castle. But before you can storm the castle, you’ll need to complete the main quest “For Whom the Bell Tolls” to gain access.

Step 4: The Book Hunt

Head to Trosky Castle and look for a shallow cliff area outside the walls. There, you’ll find the body of Nikvard next to a pile of dirt. Nearby, you’ll spot the book “Lightbringer’s Secret” – this is your target. Grab it and make your way back to Miller Kreyzl at Lower Semine Mill.

The Explosive Truth

After handing over the book, Kreyzl directs you to meet him and the others at The Lair. It’s here that the true nature of your quests is revealed, and it’s far more explosive than you might have imagined.

Bonnie finally comes clean – all this talk of alchemy and strange ingredients was just a smokescreen. The real goal? Collecting materials for making explosives. Talk about a plot twist!

Choose Your Own Adventure

Now, dear player, the power is in your hands. This Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 walkthrough has led you to a crossroads, and the choice you make will have lasting consequences:

1. Report Kreyzl’s activities to the Bailiff, triggering a raid on The Lair
2. Take matters into your own hands and eliminate Kreyzl permanently

Whatever path you choose, know that the repercussions will echo throughout your Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 journey.

Conclusion: The Aftermath of Opus Magnum

As we conclude this Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 walkthrough for the Opus Magnum side quest, take a moment to reflect on the journey. What started as a simple wedding errand has exploded into a tale of deception, alchemy, and potential terrorism. Your choices in this quest will shape Henry’s path and the world around him.

Remember, in the brutal and beautiful world of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, every decision matters. So choose wisely, stay alert, and may your adventures in medieval Bohemia be as thrilling as they are perilous!
