Who Is Sold Out on You Eric?
Kim Bum plays Seo Eric, the polished executive director of Étoile, a prestigious global skincare brand. He moved to France at a young age with his mother and has since carefully navigated a high-stakes succession battle within the company — staying strategic, staying quiet, staying safe.
But everything changes the moment he lays eyes on Dam Ye Jin (Chae Won Bin), a top home shopping host battling severe insomnia, during a chance encounter in Korea.
He returns to France. He can’t forget her. So what does a man in his position do? He orchestrates a distribution deal with her home shopping channel just to find his way back to her. Smooth, calculated, and hopelessly romantic — Seo Eric is already a fan favourite in the making.
Two Sides of the Same Man
What makes Seo Eric compelling is the contrast. At work, he’s all boardroom authority and quiet dominance. Off the clock? He’s warm, devoted, and disarmingly sweet — that puppy-like smile his team described is reportedly already melting hearts in early previews.
Romantic comedies have always thrived on this kind of duality, and Kim Bum wears it effortlessly.

Why Sold Out on You Deserves Your Watchlist
The drama’s premise — a farm-juggling hero (Ahn Hyo Seop as “Mechoori”) and a sleepless TV star — sounds delightfully chaotic. Add Kim Bum as the third wheel who’s anything but an afterthought, and this show is shaping up to be the rom-com event of mid-2026.
