Key Improvements Over iQOO 13
The iQOO 15 addresses major shortcomings of its predecessor by reintroducing the 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The iQOO 13 disappointingly dropped this feature, offering only a non-periscope 2x optical zoom telephoto camera.
The return of periscope zoom technology brings the iQOO 15 back to flagship territory, matching capabilities that were present in the iQOO 12 but mysteriously absent from the iQOO 13.
Wireless Charging Consideration
iQOO is apparently still deciding whether to include wireless charging, but the company seems to be leaning towards adding this feature according to reliable leaker Digital Chat Station.
This would complete the flagship feature set, addressing another gap that prevented the iQOO 13 from being considered a true all-out flagship device.
Premium Display Technology
The 6.85-inch QHD+ Samsung-made flat LIPO OLED display represents cutting-edge screen technology. The flat design aligns with current flagship trends while maintaining premium visual quality.
Advanced Processing Power
The expected Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor, set to be officially announced in September, will provide flagship-level performance capabilities. This next-generation chipset should deliver significant improvements in both processing power and energy efficiency.
Flagship Positioning Strategy
iQOO appears to be repositioning the series as a comprehensive flagship line after the iQOO 13’s feature compromises. The return of periscope zoom and potential wireless charging addition signals a commitment to premium specifications.
