Who Gets It First?

The flagship iQOO 15 is listed first, with a window at the end of October. The iQOO 15R and iQOO 13 follow in mid-November, and the iQOO 12 and two Neo 10 models are set for mid-December. Budget and mid-range Z-series phones, plus the older Neo9 Pro, arrive at the end of January, while the iQOO Z10x 5G is last at the end of February.

What Is OriginOS?

OriginOS is iQOO’s software skin, which replaces Funtouch OS in the brand’s newer phones and brings a redesigned look and more customisation. iQOO’s upcoming flagship, the iQOO 16, is reported to ship with OriginOS 7 on Android 17. This schedule suggests older phones will get the same software over the next few months.

How to Prepare for the Update

Back up your photos, chats and files before installing. Keep at least 30% battery and enough free storage for the update, and install it on Wi-Fi. If you depend on the phone for work or banking, you may wish to wait a week or two after the first rollout for early bugs to be fixed.

Why Timelines Often Change

Software rollouts tend to be staged by region, model and carrier, so a phone may receive the update earlier or later than a leaked date. If iQOO finds serious bugs, it can pause a rollout. For that reason, treat these dates as a guide, not a promise.

What Is Not Confirmed

iQOO has not confirmed the schedule in the post, and it does not list features of OriginOS 7 or any phones missing from the list. The source does not say whether all variants of each model will get the update at the same time. The background on the brand is on Wikipedia.
