Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G Series India Launch Confirmed for April: Teased by Flipkart

The upcoming release of the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G series in India next month was disclosed by a teaser on Flipkart on Wednesday (March 20). This week the Note 40 Pro+ 5G and Note 40 Pro 5G were introduced in markets featuring the Dimensity 7020 SoC. These smartphones come with 6.78-inch full HD+ displays that support up to a 120Hz rate and are equipped with a triple rear camera setup boasting a resolution of 108 megapixels. Additionally, there have been sightings of the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website.

The All New Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G Series

Flipkart has created a microsite to announce the arrival of the Infinix Note 40 Pro series in India. The devices will include the company’s FastCharge 2.0 technology and support for wireless charging up to 20W. As reported by MySmartPrice the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G has been listed on the BIS website with model number X6851B and received certification on Wednesday.

In terms of pricing the Note 40 Pro+ starts at $309 (around ₹25,000) while the Infinix Note 40 Pro is priced starting at $289 (₹24,000). Both the Infinix Note 40. Infinix Note 40 Pro runs on Android-based XOS software version 14 and features a curved display measuring 6.78 inches with full HD+ resolution and a dynamic refresh rate of 120Hz. Both devices run on a performance core 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset.

When it comes to the cameras both versions come with a camera system featuring a primary 108-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and the ability to zoom up to 3x. Additionally, the camera setup includes a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For capturing selfies and making video calls they are equipped with a 32 megapixel facing camera.

The Note 40 Pro+ 5G is equipped with the company’s proprietary Cheetah X1 chip and comes with a 4,600mAh battery supporting 100W wired fast charging and 20W wireless MagCharge. On the other hand, the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G houses a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired and 20W wireless MagCharge capabilities.
