India’s competitive mobile gaming scene just levelled up in a big way. Mineski Events Team and Vizta Games have officially launched the Moba Legends: 5v5! Master Series (MLMS) — India’s first publisher-backed national tournament for Moba Legends: 5v5!. The stakes couldn’t be higher: the MLMS champion earns the right to represent India at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026, putting Indian MOBA talent on the global stage through an official competitive pathway for the very first time.
MLMS 2026 — Tournament Format & Key Dates
| Stage | Dates | Format |

| Open Qualifiers | March 23–30 | Single-elimination; top teams advance |
| League Stage | April 5–26 | Round-robin with 2 qualifiers + 6 invited teams |
| Grand Finals (LAN) | May 9–10 | Top 6 teams; live LAN event |
| Prize Pool | — | ₹46,00,000 |
| Ultimate Prize | — | EWC 2026 representation for India |
Why MLMS Is a Big Deal for Indian Esports
Until now, India had no official, publisher-backed national pathway for Moba Legends: 5v5! players. MLMS changes that entirely. The format is built to be fair and wide open — the first 256 registered teams get a shot at qualifying, meaning grassroots squads from tier-2 and tier-3 cities have just as legitimate a chance as established rosters to fight their way through.
The production muscle behind it adds serious credibility. Mineski Events Team has powered some of the biggest MOBA tournaments globally, including the M7 World Championship in Indonesia — which broke global viewership records. Having them run MLMS means India’s national tournament won’t feel like a beta test; it’ll be built to the same standard as the best in the world.
For context on how massive the game itself is — Moba Legends: 5v5! has over 1.5 billion installations and 110 million monthly active users, ranking in the top 10 most-played games in over 80 countries. India entering this ecosystem officially is a watershed moment.
Teams can register right now at the official MLMS registration link before spots fill up. For more on India’s booming esports scene, check out our esports coverage on TechnoSports and the latest gaming news here.
Quick Verdict
MLMS isn’t just another mobile gaming tournament — it’s the starting gun for India’s formal entry into global MOBA esports. With a ₹46 lakh prize pool, a path to EWC 2026, and world-class production behind it, this is one to watch closely.
