The Man Who Built An Empire From Steel To Silver Screen
Originally from a Rajasthani family with roots in steel, exports, and jewellery, RB Choudary took a bold leap into films — first in Malayalam under the “Super” banner, then into Tamil cinema in 1989 in partnership with R. Mohan of Good Knight. What followed was decades of consistent, quality production that touched virtually every major South Indian star of his generation.

He backed Thalapathy Vijay’s Shahjahan, Jilla, and Thirupaachi, produced Pawan Kalyan’s Suswagatham and Annavaram, brought Mohanlal’s Keerthi Chakra to screens, and even co-produced Chiranjeevi’s Godfather. That’s not a filmography — that’s a legacy.
