Sometimes the sweetest celebrity moments are the unplanned ones. On his 44th birthday, Ranbir Kapoor didn’t hold a big press event. He stepped out, waved at the crowd waiting outside, and then called his wife over to join him.
A Birthday Wave That Felt Like Family
According to Pinkvilla, fans and photographers gathered outside the couple’s home on September 28, 2026. Ranbir, in a grey outfit, waved to the crowd. He then asked Alia Bhatt, in a blue co-ord set, to come out and share the moment.
He also joined his hands and made a heart sign for the fans. It was a small gesture, and it explains why the couple’s warmth keeps going viral. Notably, the appearance came from Ranbir’s new home, which gave this year’s birthday a fresh backdrop.
