India vs Bangladesh – 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifier match: When and where to watch the match live?

India will be hosting Bangladesh for their third 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier match and will hope to get their first win of the campaign.

The appointment of Igor Stimac as the head coach of the Indian national football team had created new hopes in the hearts of millions of Indians. But India started the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier campaign with a 2-0 loss against Oman. The Indians were hopeless after the match that this campaign will also go down like all the previous ones.

But India turned their fortune against the best Asian team. They drew with Qatar and this has given hopes to all the Indians once again.

Now, India will be hosting their neighbours Bangladesh for their third match of the FIFA qualifiers. The Blue Tigers will be looking for their first win of the campaign.

Igor Stimac said ahead of the crucial qualifying tie: “We’ll need to work on set-pieces, combinations and choose the best eleven for the game. The entire squad is extremely excited. Thank you Kolkata for your response.”

The biggest blow for the Blue Tigers will be the absence of Sandesh Jhingan at the back. He was impressive at the back in Doha against Qatar. But he has suffered an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury in a friendly match against Indian Super League (ISL) outfit NorthEast United. He will undergo surgery and is expected to be out of action for around six months.
