ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 Tickets Live Today: Cricket fans across India and Sri Lanka, mark your calendars! The International Cricket Council (ICC) has just made cricket history by launching ticket sales for the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup at prices that will make your jaw drop. Breaking Affordability Records: Entry Prices at Historic Lows

The ICC has shattered previous pricing barriers by making entry-level tickets available at ₹100 (approximately $1.11) in India and LKR1000 (approximately $3.26) in Sri Lanka. This represents a deliberate strategy to democratize cricket by ensuring fans from all economic backgrounds can experience the thrill of live international cricket.

Over 2 million tickets are going on sale in Phase I alone, marking one of the most inclusive ticketing approaches for a global cricket event. According to ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta, the vision is clear: make world-class cricket accessible to every fan, regardless of geography or financial means.

Tournament Overview: The Grandest T20 World Cup Yet

The 10th edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8, 2026. This landmark tournament features 20 teams competing across 55 matches—making it the most ambitious and inclusive T20 World Cup in history.

The excitement kicks off with Pakistan vs. Netherlands in Colombo, followed by West Indies vs. Bangladesh in Kolkata, and a heavyweight clash between India and USA in Mumbai. With this star-studded opening schedule, fans are in for an unforgettable month of electrifying cricket.

How to Book Your Tickets

Booking is straightforward: head to the official ICC ticket portal at https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com/ at 18:45 IST today and select your matches and preferred venues. Given the massive demand and historic pricing, early booking is strongly recommended to secure your seats.

The Eight Iconic Venues: Where the Action Happens

Eight world-class stadiums across India and Sri Lanka will host the tournament’s electrifying encounters:

India venues: Narendra Modi Stadium (Ahmedabad), MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chennai), Arun Jaitley Stadium (New Delhi), Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai), and Eden Gardens (Kolkata).

Sri Lanka venues: R. Premadasa Stadium (Colombo), Singhalese Sports Club Cricket Ground (Colombo), and Pallekele International Cricket Stadium (Kandy).

Each venue promises a world-class match-day experience with modern facilities and logistics befitting a global event.

Why This Matters: A Game-Changer for Cricket Fans

The ICC’s approach to pricing represents a fundamental shift in how global sporting events are accessed. By pricing tickets at ₹100, the organization is essentially saying that cricket belongs to everyone—not just the wealthy. For context, a cup of coffee costs more than entry-level tickets to a T20 World Cup match.

This strategy aligns with cricket’s roots in India and Sri Lanka, where the sport transcends socioeconomic boundaries. BCCI’s Devajit Saikia emphasized that the tournament is about creating memories and celebrating cricket in its most electrifying format, with world-class facilities and smooth logistics.

Mark Your Calendar: Key Tournament Dates

The tournament spans exactly one month, from February 7 to March 8, 2026. With 55 matches spread across eight venues, there will be multiple opportunities to catch live action. Whether you’re a casual fan or a dedicated cricket enthusiast, finding a convenient match near you shouldn’t be difficult.

Pro Tips for Booking Success

The Vision: Cricket for Billions

ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta’s statement encapsulates the tournament’s philosophy: “Every fan, regardless of background, geography or financial means, should have the chance to access an in-stadia experience of world-class marquee cricket.”

By pricing entry-level tickets at ₹100 and LKR1000, the ICC is not just selling tickets—it’s democratizing access to world-class cricket and creating an unforgettable shared experience for millions of fans.
